What does it mean to be the one for yourself? Any one person is the starting point of this work that zooms into the notion of uniqueness, exploring how that plays within various structures, relations and unexpected events. Four performers co-exist in a space, moving together but not as one. They are being themselves, making choices that define their trajectories and shape their relations to one another on the spot. They are balancing between the private I and the public Me that any one experiences in the course of her life. ANY ONE is a work that looks familiar, like something we have already experienced, but is eventually surprising as it opens up to unexpected alternatives. ANY ONE is a game of possibilities confined in a set of rules that any one can abide to. Minimal and pervasive, the dance piece is a detailed study of the one and its multiplicity.
